Firstly, what is K18?

K18 works to molecularly repair and change the polypeptide chains that have been broken during hair lightening procedures. It also reconnects the disulfide bonds disconnected also through damage from lightening.

The biomimetic formula is free of sulfates, parabens, silicones, artificial colours, phthalates and sodium chloride which is an instant green flag when it comes to hair care.

K18 leave-in treatment is basically the second step to be used at home to maintain the health and protection of the hair. In salon, there will be a K18 spray used prior to starting your colour service. To achieve maximum results and get the most out of the repairing treatment you must use the leave-in treatment as directed.

The leave-in treatment is designed to be used by shampooing hair twice as normal, towel drying the hair then using a 5c piece amount of K18 on mid lengths to ends only. Once applied it’s important to let the hair sit for 4 minutes before you begin to style. This gives the treatment time to sink into the hair cuticle and do its job! It is to be used consecutively for 6 washes then dropped down to use every 3-4 washes to maintain the health of the hair. It achieves new like hair in literally 4 minutes!
